We’re excited to announce several major updates to streamline simulation access in HyperSkill with an updated launcher and installer.
New Web Launcher
Our brand new web launcher with multi-platform support is now live! Launching and sharing simulations has never been easier—simply open the simulation link and select which platform you would like to view the simulation in. The web launcher currently supports VR, Desktop, or directly in the browser without any downloads.
New Desktop Installer
We’ve also rolled out a streamlined Windows desktop installer that simplifies the installation of HyperSkill. One major advantage of having HyperSkill installed on your Windows computer is being able to launch a simulation directly from the web launcher. You can download the latest version of HyperSkill desktop here.
VR support in SCORM
We now support running VR simulations deployed via SCORM in your institution’s LMS! The SCORM packages now launch the web launcher, so students will be able to select which experience is suitable for them. xAPI (Tin Can) launcher will also be supported soon.
